Welcome to my world – a place where the chaos of motherhood meets the thrill of fitness. I’m a woman who’s worn many hats: an athlete, a personal trainer, and most importantly, a mother of two. Today, I want to share with you my journey of rediscovery, Of how I pressed “play” on my well-being after years of putting it on “pause.”

Imagine a life filled with the adrenaline of sports – volleyball, tennis, football, and squash. That was me, reveling in the joy of physical activity. But life has its twists, and with the arrival of motherhood, my fitness journey took a pause. For eight years, my sneakers collected dust, and my well-being took a back seat. This pause, though filled with love and laughter, had its price – my health and happiness.

The realization that I needed to prioritize myself struck like a lightning bolt. Determined to make a positive change, I embarked on a journey to reclaim my fitness and happiness. My first step was enrolling in a personal trainer course, and soon after, I joined a local gym in Houston, Texas. The journey began as I immersed myself in the world of fitness, not just as a participant but now as a guide for others.

With a personal trainer certification in hand and a fire in my heart, I knew I had more to give. I enrolled in a group training course with the American Council on Exercise (ACE). This wasn’t just about physical transformation; it was about empowering myself and others to lead a life brimming with health and happiness.

Equipped with my certifications and a passion for helping others, I leaped into the world of freelance training. The decision was not just a career move; it was a declaration of my commitment to personal growth and well-being. By offering personalized fitness programs, I found a sense of purpose in guiding others on their paths to rediscovery. As a wife, mother, and freelance personal trainer, striking a balance is an ongoing challenge. However, I’ve come to realize that prioritizing my well-being is not a selfish act but a necessary one. By making time for self-care and fitness, I’ve become a happier, more energized version of myself, benefiting not only me but also my family and clients. My journey back to fitness has been transformative, both personally and professionally. Through the ups and downs, I’ve learned the importance of prioritizing self-care, pursuing one’s passion, and embracing the empowering journey of rediscovery. It is never too late to press play on your well-being and happiness.
